Beef with Ginger and Lemongrass

Ingredients:
  • 400 lean beef fillet, thinly sliced
  • 2 lemongrass stem, white part only, thinly sliced
  • 200gr green bean, trim both end.
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 medium onion, peeled, slice lengthways
  • 3 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tbs fish sauce
  • 3 tbs sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 2 tbs vegetables oil
  • 2 tbs mirin (sweet sake for cooking)
  • Steam rice to serve
Cooking Instructions:
  1. In a bowl, add beef, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, and the vegetable oil, mix together. Set aside.
  2. Heat a pan over high heat, add the beef and stir until beef change colours.
  3. Add onion, cook until onion soft.
  4. Add fish sauce, sweet soy sauce, mirin, stir well.
  5. Add green bean, stir until cook but still crunchy.
  6. Serve with rice.
