Pork Bulgogi Recipe.

This pork bulgogi recipe is another recipe from my Korean cousin in law. It was so much fun learning how to cook Korean food. It’s not hard at all, and I’m sure you can follow the recipe easily.

 

Pork Bulgogi Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 500gr pork meat thinly sliced.
  • 1 big very ripe nashi pear/any pear, grated/mashed.
  • ½ brown onion, long thin sliced.
  • 5 garlic, minced/crushed.
  • 5 tbs soy sauce.
  • 7-10 tbs good mirin (sweet sake for cooking).
  • 2 full tbs Sunchang Gochujang sauce (Korean hot pepper sauce).
  • 3 small spring onion/2 big one, chopped.
  • rice to serve.
Cooking Instructions:
  1. In a bowl, add the meat, ensure they're not stick together.
  2. Add pear, use your hand to mix together.
  3. Add soy sauce, gochujang sauce, mirin, garlic, onion and spring onion, use your hand to mix together.
  4. Heat a pan/wok, when the pan is really hot, add the marinated meat, cook until the meat is done.
  5. Taste, if you need sweeter, add more miring, if you want saltier, add soy sauce.
  6. Serve with rice, garnish with chopped spring onion.
Notes
To get better result, simply put the marinated meat in the fridge over night.
