Super Easy Prawn Recipes for Seafood Lovers!
Shrimp or prawns is one of my favourite types of seafood as it is super easy to cook. Not to mention the convience of a very short cooking time is definitely a bonus. Especially for busy people or for anyone that loves to eat but doesn’t really wants to spend lots of time in the kitchen. Superb !
This time I made two simple prawn/shrimp dishes that I think are super easy and yet delicious. One of them is BBQ type of dish and the other is Asian style.
For the first recipe Grilled Prawn with Parsley, I suggest you to use skewers to make it easier to cook on the BBQ. Otherwise, you can cook this dish in the oven. More practical and less cleaning to do. I usually serve this dish as an appetiser but some of my friends are crazy about rice so…..you can enjoy this dish with steamed rice I suppose.

Grilled Prawn with Parsley Recipe.

Serves 2 – 3
500 grams of fresh prawn/shrimp, peel the skin off (or buy them already peeled)
1 tablespoon lemon zest
2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 cloves of garlic, crushed or finely chopped
1 full teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 chopped tsp parsley
1/4 tsp salt
How to make grilled prawn:
Turn on the oven 180 degrees celsius (or outdoor BBQ).
Prepare a large bowl .
Combine all ingredients together. And then stir until prawn is coated in herbs.
Cook seasoned prawn/shrimp in the oven or on the BBQ grill until cooked.
Honey and Ginger Prawn.

Serve 2 – 3
500 grams of fresh prawn/shrimp, peel the skin off (or buy them already peeled))
1 tbsp chopped ginger (you can use ginger paste)
1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
Freshly squeezed lemon juice from 1 lemon
50 ml of water
1 tbsp honey
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 spring onion, cut as desired
How to make honey and ginger prawn:
Heat the sesame oil in a pan, saute garlic, prawn/shrimp, ginger, soy sauce and lemon juice.
Cook the prawn/shrimp for about 4 to 5 minutes continue stir briefly .
Add water and honey, and then continue to cook for about 2 minutes or until well cooked .
Add chopped spring onion and cook briefly. Turn off the heat .
Best to serve with seamed rice.
