Beef Bulgogi Recipe

- 500gr beef thinly sliced (you can buy sliced beef from Korean/Japanese Butchers
- 1 big very ripe nashi pear/any pear, grated/mashed
- ¼ zucchini, grated
- 100 gr mushroom, sliced
- ½ brown onion, long thin sliced
- 5 garlic, minced/crushed
- 1 small carrot, grated
- 5 tbs soy sauce
- 10 tbs good mirin - sweet sake for cooking
- 3 full tbs Sunchang Gochujang sauce - Korean hot pepper sauce
- 3 small spring onion/2 big one, chopped
- rice to serve
- In a bowl, add meat, ensure they are not stick together.
- Add pear, mix well - use your hand.
- Add the rest of the ingredients EXCEPT RICE, use your hand to mix together.
- Heat a pan/wok, when the pan is really hot, add the marinated meat, cook until the meat is done.
- Taste, if you need sweeter bulgogi add more mirin, if you want saltier add soy sauce.
- Serve with rice, garnish with chopped spring onion.
