CousCous with Sardine Recipe - Resep CousCous dan Ikan Sarden

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup couscous
  • 1 cup of water
  • ½ tsp of dried oregano leaf
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tbs butter
  • olive oil
  • 425 gr can sardine in tomato sauce
  • 1 tomato, cut into 8 pieces
  • 3 garlic clove, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium french onion/shallot, thinly sliced
  • ½ cm ginger, thinly sliced
Cooking Instructions:
  1. Place 1 cup of water in a sauce pan, add 2 tbs olive oil and a pinch of salt, bring to boil.
  2. Remove from the heat, stir and pur 1 cup of couscous.
  3. Put the lids on and allow to stand for 3 minutes.
  4. Add 1 tbs butter and oregano, heat again on very low heat for 3 minutes. Remove from heat, set aside.
  5. Heat oil in a pan, sautee shallot, garlic and ginger until beautifully fragrant.
  6. Add sardines and tomatoes, put the lids on, cook for about 10 minutes, shake occasionally. Turn off the heat.
  7. Serve CousCous with sardines on top.
