We’ve been eating out a lot lately as the weather starting to be friendly and it’s a great time to catch up with family and friends . So I apologies if I have not been cooking or posting my recipe.
We went to The Art Gallery of Western Australia last night with good friends of ours to enjoy master piece of Van Gogh, Dali and other famous painter of the 20th century. What a great way to spend Friday night after work. Art, classical music, wine and great company, we definitely had a great time. After the tour we sat down and enjoy glass of wine and watch The Perth Chamber Orchestra played beautiful classical numbers and thats how our night out begin.
We’re all starving by the time Orchestra finished so we walk few hundreds metres to find food. Most places jam packed, it’s always sign they’ve got a great food. My friend is absolutely food lovers he knows where to get good food around so he suggested Japanese Restaurant, unfortunately they don’t have enough table for ten of us. And there is a burger place next door called Jus Burger so we go there. I’m very picky with my burger, I’m not a big fan of burgers from fast food, lucky if I have them 3 times a year. Must be something wrong with me lol…..
As I made my own burger recently (inspired by Jamie Oliver’s Blue Cheese burger) I decided to order blue cheese burger from this place. We sat and chat while enjoying our chips and onion ring, not long after, our food arrived. The first thing I did is to cut the burger in half as it was pretty big and I can see my beef patty still pink in the middle. Aaaaarrrrhhhh….I like my beef cook well done. Then I check my blue cheese, ohh…..it’s so tinny. I had a bite after bite after bite and I think the burger I had was lack in taste. I’m expecting more blue cheese. When I see other people’s burger, the topping looks alright (not sure about the taste)but the beef patty are still pink in the middle as well. If you don’t mind your beef pink I think you will like this place.
Over all I will rate their blue cheese burger 6.5 out of 10.
