My Hometown…..
My Hometown……
When I was little, this place seems sooooooo big.No one has car and there are public transportation but limited. Some people might have motorcycle and definitely not my family. Everyone in town pretty much know each other and food are everywhere !!!!!! Grandma’s house, aunty’s house, friend’s house and guess what, everyone is aunty for us (thats how we call our friend’s mum and our own aunty) so our aunty’s are everywhere 😀
There are no electricity, fridge, or TV until I was at year 8. I was study at night using gasoline lamp for the light. Everything was so simple and yet I was very happy.
75% people in my hometown grows their own food, we have market that only open 3 times a week for about 3-4 hours. My mum and dad still grows rice that enough for them to eat for a year. And that’s really cool !!!
I left my hometown in 1998 to study in Jakarta.
Mount Wilis.
I used to catch little fish and shrimp after school 🙂
My Dad used to take me for fishing just to give my mum a break 🙂
Guess how old is this aunty ? Over 80 years old and still go to her rice field 🙂
Above picture is my primary school I took in 2011.
